We’re seeking a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 2 to help lead our vibrant store. You’ll support the Store Manager in achieving sales goals, recruiting, and team development. Think of yourself as a mix of Harry Potter and Luke Skywalker — capable of handling any challenge while driving sales and building lasting customer relationships.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Support your Store Manager in reaching sales and comparable sales targets.
• Assist in recruiting, developing, and retaining a passionate, collaborative team.
• Create excitement and engagement through promoting new products, leveraging social media, and offering benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup.
• Provide leadership to ensure operational excellence, balancing store operations, delegation, and customer-first practices.
• Monitor shrinkage, loss prevention, payroll hours, and staff schedules.
• Communicate with retail leadership and HQ about trends and customer feedback.
• Analyze sales reports and use data to inform strategies to meet sales goals.
• Merchandise the store effectively, using planograms and launching promotions on time.
• Collaborate with your Store Manager to develop a high-performing, customer-focused team.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• 1-2 years of retail management experience; a love for music and pop culture is a plus.
• Experience leading successful teams with skills in communication, recruiting, operations, and team development.
• Strong skills in communication, time management, professionalism, and operational tasks.
• High school diploma or GED; a degree is a bonus.
• Ability to adapt quickly and handle changing retail environments.
• Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds.
