We’re seeking a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 2 to help lead the loudest store in the mall. You’ll support the Store Manager in achieving store objectives related to sales targets, recruiting, and team development. Think of yourself as a blend of Harry Potter and Luke Skywalker—capable of handling anything while driving sales and building lasting customer relationships.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Support your Store Manager in achieving sales and comparable sales goals. While not solely about sales, they are important.
• Assist in recruiting, developing, and retaining a passionate, collaborative team to run the store.
• Create buzz and engage customers by promoting new products, utilizing social media, and offering benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup.
• Provide leadership to ensure the store operates smoothly, balancing operational tasks, delegation, and customer-focused selling.
• Monitor shrink/loss prevention, payroll hours, and associate schedules.
• Collaborate with retail leadership and HQ on trends and customer feedback.
• Analyze sales reports and use data to inform strategies to meet sales goals.
• Merchandise the store effectively using planograms and ensure promotions launch on time.
• Partner with the Store Manager to develop a high-performing, customer-focused team of associates.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• 1-2 years of retail management experience. A love for music and pop culture is a plus!
• Experience leading successful teams with skills in communication, recruiting, operations, and team development.
• Strong skills in communication, time management, professionalism, and operational tasks, with a drive to develop your team.
• High school diploma or GED; a degree is a plus.
• Ability to adapt to the fast-changing retail environment and handle unexpected challenges.
• Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products using store equipment, and lift up to 50 pounds.
