We’re looking for music and pop culture enthusiasts to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1, you’ll support the store leadership team in providing excellent customer service, ensuring fans can find the merchandise they love. You’ll leverage your fandom knowledge to train new team members and support daily operations and sales goals.

What You'll Do
  1. Provide an engaging shopping experience that encourages repeat visits, showcasing your product knowledge and customer service skills.
  2. Step in and support when needed, including covering the sales floor and assisting the Manager.
  3. Open and close the store as required, managing store keys responsibly.
  4. Operate the register, process transactions, and promote add-on sales using store benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup.
  5. Understand sales plans, KPIs such as UPT and ADT, and contribute to achieving sales targets.
  6. Assist with store layout changes, including planograms and merchandising.
  7. Share fashion and music trend insights with management and HQ partners.
  8. Work with Store Management to prevent theft and misuse of store resources.
  9. Maintain organized stock rooms and keep the store tidy.
  10. Contribute to building a passionate, collaborative team.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Leader.
What You'll Need
  1. At least 1 year of retail experience, preferably with a passion for music and pop culture.
  2. Strong communication, time management, professionalism, and leadership skills.
  3. A high school diploma or GED.
  4. Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds.
