We’re looking for music and pop culture fanatics to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1, you’ll support the store leadership team in providing excellent customer service, training new recruits, and assisting with daily operations to meet sales targets.

What You'll Do

1. Provide an engaging shopping experience that encourages customer loyalty through product knowledge and excellent service.
2. Step in and support when needed, including covering the sales floor and assisting the management team.
3. Open and close the store as required, ensuring security protocols are followed.
4. Process sales transactions efficiently and promote additional sales through store benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup.
5. Understand sales goals and key performance indicators such as UPT and ADT.
6. Assist with store layout and merchandising updates.
7. Communicate fashion and music trends to management and HQ partners.
8. Work with management to prevent theft and misuse of store assets.
9. Maintain organized stock rooms and a tidy store environment.
10. Contribute to developing a passionate, collaborative team.
11. Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Leader.

What You'll Need

1. At least 1 year of retail experience, with a passion for music and pop culture.
2. Strong communication, time management, professionalism, and leadership skills.
3. High school diploma or GED.
4. Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay range: $17 - $19.55 per hour. Final salary depends on education, experience, location, and other factors.
