Calvert School, an independent lower and middle school, is searching for a part-time Assistant Child Care Teacher for its Kiddie Calvert program. The position will be available for the 2025-26 school year and the teacher will start in August 2025. Kiddie Calvert is an on-site childcare center providing care to infants eight weeks old to toddlers age four. Calvert School inspires each child to lead a life of purpose by providing a strong foundation in academic skills and character development. The school is located in Tuscany-Canterbury, a residential neighborhood in Baltimore City, just north of Johns Hopkins University and south of Loyola University Maryland, accessible from Charles Street and I-83.
The Assistant Teacher will assist the Lead Teacher in creating and implementing curriculum and activities that are age appropriate and they will assist in managing the daily affairs of a classroom. They will also assist in managing student daily reports and will interact with parents and collaborate with team members. This is a 10-month position and the shift available is Monday through Friday, 12:30 P.M. to 5:30 P.M.
