Job summary

Portland Community College is accepting applications to be considered for Part-Time Faculty assignments in the American Sign Language Department. The department will review applications in this pool as the need arises for new part-time faculty in this area.

Instructor Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or above; the ability or willingness to obtain ASLTA – Certified Level within one year of hire; and native or near-native fluency in American Sign Language.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above from an accredited institution
• Possess, or be willing to obtain, certification within one year of hire date from the American Sign Language Teachers Association (ASLTA) – Certified Level
• Demonstrate native or near-native fluency in American Sign Language
