Del Mar College is seeking an American Sign Language instructor for a pool of part-time, non-exempt positions in Continuing Education. Courses will be taught at various times and locations to meet institutional needs, with emphasis on quality instruction.

The role requires developing diverse teaching methods, maintaining professional relationships, and evaluating student progress per course outcomes. Instructors must maintain syllabi, attendance, and grade submission in WebDMC.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years related work experience.
• One (1) year teaching or tutoring.

• Teach assigned courses in various times and locations.
• Develop and use a variety of teaching methods and materials.
• Maintain a classroom environment that promotes teaching and learning.
