Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics, foreign languages, translation and interpretation, or related field preferred.
• 2 years of ASL interpretation experience in health care setting.
• RID NIC preferred; hospital interpreter program training recommended.

Responsibilities

• Interpret between English and ASL for patients, families and staff while maintaining confidentiality.
• Complete translations and documentation after sessions; assist with program initiatives.
• Support remote or on-site interpreting needs and participate in quality assurance efforts.
