The City of Woodstock is seeking a Part-Time Arts Supervisor with the Woodstock Recreation Department to plan, supervise and prepare youth and adult dance programs and oversee arts, music and theater offerings.

This hourly, non-exempt position starts at $20.55 per hour and averages up to 28 hours per week. Benefits include IMRF pension, prorated vacation, holidays, sick time, life insurance, two vision plans, and a free Woodstock Recreation Center membership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year in recreation.
• Knowledge or background of theater, dance, music and arts.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid Illinois driver's license with a good driving record.
• First-Aid, CPR and AED certifications must be obtained within 90 days.

Part-Time Arts Supervisor

The City of Woodstock is pleased to be recruiting for a part-time Arts Supervisor with the Woodstock Recreation Department.

POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direction and supervision of the Community Outreach, Arts & Special Events Manager, the Arts Supervisor is responsible for assisting in planning, supervising and preparing youth and adult dance programs. This position also oversees various arts, music and theater programming.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma/equivalent with a minimum of one (1) year previous experience in recreation field.
• Knowledge or background of theater, dance, music and arts.
• Preferred 18 years of age and older.
• Valid Illinois driver's license with a good driving record.
• First-Aid, CPR, and AED certifications are required within 90 days and must be maintained.

SALARY & BENEFITS

The position is a part-time, non-exempt/hourly position with a starting rate of pay of $20.55. It will work no more than an average of 28 hours per week.
