Job summary

The Creekside School is seeking a compassionate Part‑Time Art Therapist to provide direct art therapy services to students with autism and developmental disabilities. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Art Therapy or a related field.
• Registered Art Therapist (ATR or ATR-BC).
• Two years of professional experience with individuals on the autism spectrum or with developmental support needs.
• At least one year collaborating with other professionals as part of an IEP team.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage an engaging art therapy program.
• Provide high-quality individual and group art therapy experiences.
• Support students in developing coping and social-emotional skills.
• Develop rapport with students and collaborate with the educational team.
• Adapt activities to meet each student’s developmental and communication needs.
• Follow IEPs, BIPs, and related plans.
• Collect data to evaluate progress and adjust programming.
• Maintain a safe, well‑organized therapy environment.
