Job summary

The Creekside School, a nonprofit organization in California, is seeking Autism Paraprofessionals to support students with autism and developmental disabilities in a specialized educational program.

You will build relationships, reinforce learning, and help students develop academic, communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills in a person-centered setting. Join a collaborative team and contribute to student success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to supporting students with autism.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain patient, flexible, and professional in a dynamic educational environment.
• Experience with special education or behavioral health is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in implementing IEPs and BIPs.
• Provide one-on-one and small-group support to students with autism.
• Encourage communication, social interaction, independence, and positive behavior.
• Assist with academic, behavioral, recreational, and daily living activities.
• Create a structured, safe, and positive classroom environment.
• Collect behavioral and academic data as directed.
