Allied Universal in San Antonio, TX is seeking a part-time Security Officer Armed – Shopping Center Flex to provide reliable armed security at a busy retail site. The role offers flexible hours and opportunities to earn more by picking up shifts.

You will perform patrols, monitor access, respond to incidents, and maintain detailed reports while upholding site procedures. A valid Texas Level III Armed Certification, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular armed patrols throughout retail areas, parking zones, loading zones, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe activity, and report suspicious behavior to site contacts.
• Maintain required reports and incident documentation and communicate with leadership and site management.
