Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks a Part Time Enhanced Security Officer in Daytona Beach, FL. This role offers fixed shifts with an option to pick up additional shifts through our platform to increase earnings.

The position emphasizes customer service, adherence to site policies, and maintaining firearms qualifications for armed assignments, with a six-month anchor shift commitment.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Maintain required firearms qualifications, licensing, and equipment in accordance with applicable laws, Allied Universal policies, and site requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activity through clear and timely reports, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and authorized personnel.
