Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, members, visitors, and employees by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, including coordinating with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, ATM locations, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, vendors, contractors, and visitors in accordance with site‑specific procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation for incidents, patrol activity, access control, and other security‑related observations.
