Qualifications

U.S. Military service preferred.
Valid Florida Class D Security License.
Valid Florida Class G License.
Experience in church, school or institution security preferred.
CPR/First Aid Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
Must be physically capable of standing, patrolling.
Excellent verbal communication and de-escalation skills.
Must pass background check and drug screening.
Neatly groomed appearance.
Must be able to successfully pass a firearms proficiency test.

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe and secure campus environment for clergy and guests
Conduct active patrols of church grounds and access points
Monitor entry/exit areas and enforce visitor access control procedures
Respond to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies swiftly and effectively
Must be capable of patrolling actively outside on foot
Deter and detect potential threats through active presence and situational awareness
