Job summary

Guardian Group Solutions LLC is seeking a highly reliable Unarmed Security Officer to join our team at a church campus in Boca Raton/Pompano Beach, FL. This part-time/flex role supports a visible, disciplined security presence and proactive deterrence.

Preferred candidates have U.S. military or law enforcement background, Florida Class D license, and CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Duties include patrolling, visitor control, and rapid response to incidents.

Qualifications

• U.S. Military service preferred.
• Valid Florida Class D Security License.
• Experience in church, school or institution security preferred.
• CPR/First Aid Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Must be physically capable of standing, patrolling.
• Excellent verbal communication and de-escalation skills.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Neatly groomed appearance.
• Must be able to successfully pass a firearms proficiency test.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure campus environment for clergy and guests.
• Conduct active patrols of church grounds and access points
• Monitor entry/exit areas and enforce visitor access control procedures
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies swiftly and effectively
• Must be capable of patrolling actively outside on foot
• Deter and detect potential threats through active presence and situational awareness

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a highly reliable and physically active Unarmed Security Officer to join our team in Boca Raton/Pompano Beach FL. This position is ideal for a former military service member/law enforcement looking to contribute to church safety and community food pantry program in a visible, disciplined, and impactful role.

This is a permanent assignment, Monday-Friday: 0845 AM-1245 PM/ Sundays 9:30 AM-3:30 PM with opportunities for additional hours. Officers will be stationed at a church campus where professionalism, presence, and proactive deterrence are essential.
