Spanish River Church Inc. in Boca Raton seeks an Armed Security Officer to help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for staff, students, church members, counseling clients, volunteers, and guests.

You will patrol campuses, monitor access, respond to emergencies, and coordinate with local authorities as needed. The role requires a valid Florida firearms license, a security officer license, and the ability to pass background and drug screenings, with strong communication and calm,

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Valid Florida driver’s license with clean record.
Valid Florida Class \"G\" Statewide Firearm License.
Valid Florida Class \"D\" Security Officer License (or ability to obtain).
Ability to legally carry a firearm while on duty.
Criminal background and drug screening required.
CPR/AED/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

Patrol church, school, counseling center, and parking areas on foot and by vehicle.
Maintain visible security presence during services and events.
Monitor entrances, exits, and campus access; enforce security procedures.
Respond to emergencies and coordinate with law enforcement and EMS.
Document incidents with written reports and assist investigations.
