Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Access Control in Atlanta, GA. This role provides reliable hours with fixed shifts and opportunities to pick up extra shifts to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $24.16 per hour. The position offers a path toward full-time roles through paid training and development opportunities within a leading security services company.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience, or a college degree.
• 5+ years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• A background check will be conducted as required by law.
• A drug screen may be required as permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution by carrying out security‑related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking areas, offices, parking areas, ATMs, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and report suspicious behavior to leadership.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, professional manner following site orders.
• Maintain and report accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation.
