Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Armed Driver Patrol Emergency Readiness in Leesburg, VA. You will guard government locations, perform routine armed patrols, manage access, and respond to incidents while representing Allied Universal’s values of integrity and teamwork.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Armed guard card or license is required.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Allied Universal conducts a background investigation as part of employment.
• A drug screen is required as a condition of employment.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while following security procedures and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas and perimeter to deter incidents.
• Monitor access, verify credentials, and report suspicious activity or access-control concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and disturbances calmly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and communicate information with site representatives and leadership.
