Allied Universal in Tampa, FL seeks a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced to provide reliable, site‑based security with armed patrol capabilities. This role offers fixed shifts, a chance to earn extra through additional shifts, and a path toward broader experience with a national leader in security services.

You will handle customer service for employees and visitors, respond to alarms, patrol interior and exterior areas, verify access, and document incidents according to site procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license in the state of employment.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or customers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business operations areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
