Job summary

Allied Universal in Reno, NV is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Armed Driver Perimeter Patrol to protect government facilities and surrounding assets. You will perform armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents and assist employees and visitors.

The role is armed, driving, and requires responding to incidents and documenting activity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license.
• Armed guard card/licensure preferred and pepper spray certification preferred.
• Be subject to background and drug screening as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while following security procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and professionally.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and report suspicious activity.
• Prepare reports and maintain documentation of patrols and incidents.
