Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Driver in Oregon, OH. This role offers fixed shifts with an option to pick up extra shifts and grow within the industry leader.

Pay starts at $20.60 per hour with opportunities to earn more through additional shifts. The position requires at least 2 years of law enforcement/military police/corrections experience, an armed guard card, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver’s license according to Allied Universal policy.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Background check requirement as per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and emergencies with calm, documented communications.
• Conduct regular armed patrols across rail, terminal, yard, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, report unauthorized entries and suspicious behavior per site protocols.
• Support cargo and infrastructure protection by observing high-traffic areas and relaying important information to supervisors.
