Job summary

The Ranch in Loveland, CO, operated by Larimer County, seeks part-time event crew to set up and tear down barns and arenas, and to support events with safety and guest service. You’ll work around horses and livestock, operate tractors and arena equipment, and help maintain a clean, safe venue for exhibitors and attendees.

Ideal candidates are reliable, able to follow directions, and comfortable with physical labor. Weekend and holiday availability will be required for peak events.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Driver's license preferred.
• Experience in event operations, livestock, arena maintenance, general labor, or customer service preferred.
• Comfortable working around animals.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions and work safely.

Responsibilities

• Set up, convert, and tear down barns and arenas for events, moving panels, stalls, fencing, tables, equipment, and other materials.
• Perform physically demanding work such as lifting panels, configuring stalls, bedding distribution, and waste removal.
• Operate tractors and equipment to prepare and maintain arena footing by watering, dragging and leveling areas.
• Clean and maintain barns, arenas, event spaces, restrooms, grounds, and other facilities before, during, and after events.
• Support event operations by providing directions, monitoring conditions, and helping events run safely and efficiently.
• Operate tools and equipment safely and report hazards or maintenance concerns.
