The University of North Carolina at Charlotte invites applications for adjunct/part-time faculty in the School of Architecture to teach designated courses for a given semester. These positions are temporary and do not accrue benefits.

Responsibilities include developing and updating course syllabi, preparing lectures and projects, holding regularly scheduled office hours, grading assignments and exams, and submitting progress reports and final grades in line with university policies.

Qualifikationen

• Doctorate or master's degree in the teaching discipline or related field.
• Undergraduate course teaching requires a master’s with 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline or a terminal degree.
• Graduate courses require a doctorate or terminal degree in the teaching discipline or related field.

Aufgaben

• Develop and/or update course syllabi and prepare lectures, projects, or assignments.
• Meet all designated class periods and maintain office hours.
• Grade student assignments and exams in a timely manner and submit reports and final grades.
