Job summary

City Of Cheyenne is seeking an Aquatics Lifeguard to monitor patrons, enforce safety, and provide emergency care at the 4 - Aquatics facility in Cheyenne. This part-time, non-exempt role requires attending to incidents, performing daily maintenance, and delivering courteous customer service.

Certifications in lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR/AED are preferred, with strong English communication and the ability to work independently.

• Preferred: Lifeguard, First-Aid and CPR/AED certifications

Responsibilities

• Maintains constant surveillance of patrons and enforces safety.
• Provides emergency care and treatment until EMS arrives.
• Documents incidents and reports as required.
• Handles phone inquiries professionally and relays information.
• Inspects and cleans locker rooms, pool decks and related areas.
• Performs daily, weekly, and monthly pool maintenance checks.
