Job summary

Rockworth Management in Saint George, UT is seeking a part-time Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our property care team. You will perform routine and preventive maintenance, addressing plumbing, electrical, HVAC and carpentry tasks to keep units and common areas safe and functional.

You will respond to work orders, inspect grounds and equipment, prepare vacant units, maintain tools and inventory, and coordinate with contractors for larger repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or a recognized trade certificate.
• Residential maintenance experience is preferred and valuable.
• Proficiency with basic hand tools and equipment used in building maintenance.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks including climbing ladders.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance for apartments, common areas, and grounds.
• Identify and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry issues.
• Respond to work orders and resident requests promptly and courteously.
• Inspect property grounds, buildings, and equipment; report findings to the property manager.
• Prepare vacant units to be clean, functional, and move‑in ready.
• Maintain maintenance equipment and inventory records.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for larger repairs as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and company policies.
