Job summary

Pacific Learning Academy is hiring part-time Math and Science Tutors/Teachers to provide 1-on-1 instruction to middle and high school students in Sammamish and Issaquah. Our needs include math through AP Calculus and science (physics and chemistry).

Pay is $28-$33 per hour, start dates through September, and lessons can occur at students' homes, at the Sammamish office, or online via Zoom. Please indicate every subject you can teach.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree (or equivalent) is the minimum requirement.
• Ability and interest in working with students of all abilities in grades 6–12.
• Excellent English language skills (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 tutoring for middle and high school students.
• Support math through AP Calculus and science (physics & chemistry).
• Indicate all subjects you can teach to maximize hours.
