Springborn Staffing is seeking an experienced accounting professional for a 10-12 week temporary assignment in the Greater Portland area. The role focuses on accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliations, handling around 50 AP invoices weekly and 5–10 reconciliations monthly.

The position is part-time (about 20–24 hours/week) across three days with scheduling flexibility.

Qualifications

• Hands-on AP/AR experience.
• Experience processing a moderate to high volume of invoices.
• Account reconciliations experience.
• Strong data entry and Excel skills.
• Ability to research and resolve discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Review invoices and supporting documentation for accuracy.
• Enter accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Assist with billing and other accounts receivable activities.
• Prepare and process vendor payments.
• Perform account reconciliations and research discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with general ledger entries and account maintenance as needed.
• Enter and maintain financial information within the organization's accounting system.
• Provide general accounting and administrative support as needed.
