Job summary

Qualifications

  • Professional experience or teaching experience in the relevant field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in subject matter and commitment to student learning.
  • Excellent professional interpersonal, organization, and communication skills.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
  • Commitment to the University's Theology of Racial and Ethnic Diversity.
  • Desire to work with a diverse community of students and employees.

Responsibilities

  • Teach laboratory and/or lecture sections of Human Anatomy & Physiology I and II.
  • Collaborate with Biology and Chemistry faculty within the department.
  • Teach courses in alignment with the university's mission and learning objectives.
  • Develop instructional strategies that promote student engagement.
  • Provide timely feedback on student work.
  • Maintain attendance, grades, and student performance records.
  • Utilize the university's learning management system (Canvas) for course management.
  • Maintain professionalism and adhere to university policies.
  • Communicate respectfully with colleagues, students, and the public.
  • Be a Christian role model to students.
  • Demonstrated experience working cross culturally with respect, appreciation and humility.
  • Other duties as assigned.
