Job summary

Spire Hospitality, a hotel management company, is hiring Bussers to join our Food & Beverage team. You will deliver attentive guest service, assist with plate presentations, and support kitchen and dining operations in a fast-paced hotel restaurant environment.

No prior hospitality experience is required, and a Food Handlers Certification is preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits, including early pay options, medical/dental/vision coverage, and hotel discounts for team members.

Responsibilities

• Deliver best-in-class service to our guests with engagement and thoughtfulness
• Prepare food and beverage trays and carts in anticipation of incoming orders, ensuring everything is ready for prompt service
• Retrieve food and beverage items from the kitchen, verifying that each order is complete with all food, beverages, alcoholic drinks, and condiments
• Warmly welcome guests by serving beverages, breads, and butter to enhance their dining experience, and graciously replenish as needed to ensure their satisfaction
• Swiftly refresh tables, and diligently reset all service-ware to create a welcoming and immaculate environment
• Replenish and restock side-stands, to maintain smooth operations

Essential Job Functions

Physical Demands

• Kneel, stoop, grasp, lift and carry, and transport 50 - 75lbs
• Manual dexterity of hands to use food and beverage equipment
• Work most of the shift standing and moving about in the restaurant and kitchen areas

Qualifications

Education

• High school diploma or its equivalent

Experience

• Any combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
• Food Handlers Certification required
• No prior experience required. Prior hospitality experience preferred.
• Additional language ability preferred
