Job summary

SPIRE Hospitality, LLC in Cincinnati, Ohio, invites you to join our Banquet Team near the Ohio River and The Banks. As a Banquet Food Server, you will deliver food and beverages with a smile and provide outstanding guest service during events.

Your duties include setting up banquet tables per the Banquet Event Order, refreshing beverages, resetting the room after functions, and keeping banquet areas clean and organized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year Banquet Server experience in a similar role, size of operation preferred.
• Alcohol Beverage Server Certification preferred.
• Food Handlers Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver best-in-class service to our guests with engagement and thoughtfulness.
• Thoughtfully prepare banquet tables with the perfect setup as detailed in the Banquet Event Order (BEO).
• Deliver guests' food and beverages with enthusiasm and ensure guest satisfaction.
• After each function, reset the banquet room as specified in the BEO or per given instructions.
• Ensure the banquet facilities are impeccably organized after each event by replenishing and storing condiments and supplies.
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and optimal functionality of all banquet facilities.

Essential Job Functions:

• Deliver best-in-class service to our guests with engagement and thoughtfulness
• Thoughtfully prepare banquet tables with the perfect setup as detailed in the Banquet Event Order (BEO) to create an inviting and memorable experience
• Deliver guests' food and beverage with enthusiasm, regularly revisit table to ensure beverages are filled and ensure guest satisfaction
• After each function, reset the banquet room as specified in the BEO or per given instructions to ensure it's perfectly prepared for the next event
• Ensure the banquet facilities are impeccably organized after each event by replenishing and properly storing all condiments and supplies
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and optimal functionality of all banquet facilities

Wage: Hourly $10.70 plus tips

Physical Demands:

• Kneel, stoop, grasp, lift and carry, and transport 50 – 75lbs
• Manual dexterity of hands to use food and beverage equipment
• Work most of the shift standing and moving about in the meeting spaces and kitchen areas
