Job summary

47th Street Phoenix is seeking a reliable Part-time AM Cook to join our team. You will prepare and cook breakfast and lunch items according to our menu while ensuring food quality and safety standards are met. We offer mornings and early afternoons shifts, about 20-25 hours per week.

Ideal candidates have proven kitchen experience and a strong eye for detail in a fast-paced environment. Certification from culinary school is a plus, and you will collaborate with a friendly kitchen team to deliver

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cook, Line Cook, or similar role.
• Knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Certification from a culinary school or training program is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch items following our recipes and portion sizes
• Ensure food quality by tasting and testing as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Monitor food stock and place orders as needed
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times
• Assist with menu planning and special event preparation as required
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures
