Job summary

Door Tech LLC in Lexington, NC is seeking a dependable Part-Time Production Saw Operator to support our aluminum extrusion cutting operations. The position offers a stable daytime weekday schedule with 20 hours per week and hands-on training on our equipment.

You will run automated CNC and manual saws, verify measurements, perform quality checks, and maintain a safe, organized work area in a small-team environment. Prior saw- or manufacturing experience is preferred; training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with production saws and aluminum fabrication is preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch.
• Strong attention to detail while maintaining production pace.
• Able to operate touchscreen controls and basic production software.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated and manual saws to cut aluminum extrusion.
• Select material, program length and quantity from production paperwork.
• Load, unload, stage, and organize extrusion.
• Measure finished parts and verify cuts meet specifications.
• Perform first-piece and periodic quality checks.
• Recalibrate equipment and adjust after training.
• Stop production when measurements are out of tolerance.
• Record completed quantities, rejects, and material usage.
• Maintain an efficient production pace and meet established production expectations.
• Keep the saw area clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow machine-safety procedures and work instructions.
