Job summary

Allied Universal in Kahului, HI is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Airport Security Officer to provide courteous customer service, patrol terminals and monitor access points according to site procedures.

You will respond to incidents, complete clear reports, and collaborate with airport staff while upholding safety and security standards. Minimum requirements include 18+ years, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass background checks and screenings.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and agency personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals, public areas, exterior grounds, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points, restricted-area entry locations, and vehicle or pedestrian activity in accordance with site-specific policies and established reporting procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate airport personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and authorized personnel.
