Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring for an Airport Security Officer: Part Time CCTV in Kahului, HI. The role involves unarmed security at an airport location, monitoring CCTV, and performing patrols to deter incidents. A part-time schedule is offered with the stated pay rate.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license, 1+ year security-related experience, and the ability to pass background checks and screenings. First two months involve rotating posts for familiarization on airport property.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience using alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an airport location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, public access points, parking facilities, roadways, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within assigned areas, reporting security-related concerns, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate professionally with airport personnel, law enforcement, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership.
