Job summary
Udacity is seeking experienced AI/ML mentors to support our School of AI programs as external contractors. You will conduct personalized 1:1 sessions, deliver deep-dive technical walkthroughs, and host group Q&A sessions to help learners master core concepts and project work.
The role offers flexible, part-time remote engagement with compensation that varies by location and experience. You will collaborate with the Mentor Success Team to review student projects and provide constructive guidance.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning
- Passion for mentoring and helping others succeed in their learning
- Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship-building
- Deep understanding of tech industry trends in AI
- Flexibility to work part-time as an external contractor
Responsibilities
- Conduct 1:1 video mentor sessions addressing learners' questions
- Lead virtual technical deep-dive sessions with slide-based walkthroughs
- Host group Q&A sessions via Slack or video to support projects and coursework
