Peopleworth invites experienced AI engineers to join as Industry Mentor. You will connect advanced AI engineering practices with real-world applications, guiding learners on LLM-based system design, deployment, governance, and evaluation in industry contexts.

Responsibilities include facilitating online discussions, delivering three live sessions, and offering structured one-to-one coaching while avoiding direct grading. A flexible remote setup supports diverse learner paths.

Qualifications

• Experience building and operating LLM-based systems in production.
• Experience in roles like AI Engineer, Senior/Staff Software Engineer or Architect.
• Familiarity with responsible AI deployment, governance, auditability, bias assessment and regulations.
• Ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience with online learning environments is desirable.
• Master’s degree is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate online community discussions linking weekly learning to real-world AI engineering practices.
• Design and deliver three 60-minute live industry sessions on practical topics.
• Provide structured 30-minute one-to-one sessions to guide learners on industry context and career direction.
• Share practical examples from building and operating LLM-based systems in production.
• Help learners understand pathways into AI engineering and portfolio credibility.
• Collaborate with delivery colleagues to address learner concerns and feedback.
• Connect technical topics to real workplace scenarios like RAG, retrieval design, and agent architectures.
• Adapt guidance for career changers and experienced coders.
• Maintain boundaries around academic assessment by avoiding grading or step-by-step task guidance.
• Contribute to a collaborative, fast-paced learning environment.
• Contribute current industry knowledge to developing AI engineering professionals.
• Offer flexible participation in remote learning.
