Job summary

The casual, part-time role (15-19 hours/week) focuses on delivering AI services for workforce development and business innovation, collaborating with industry partners to scope and prototype AI projects.

You will translate complex AI concepts for non-technical audiences, mentor AI Fellows, produce technical documents, and help operationalize AI workflows within lab programs.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in ML, generative AI, LLMs, and agentic systems.
• Proficiency in Python and deploying AI solutions.
• Experience managing client-facing technical projects with deliverables and timelines.
• Ability to translate problems into technical AI solutions for non-technical audiences.
• Ability to provide guidance to junior staff and fellows.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Scope, plan, and lead applied AI projects for business clients, including AI readiness and PoC development.
• Design AI-powered workflows and automation aligned with client goals.
• Deliver customized AI training and consultation for external partners.
• Create technical documentation: implementation guides, architecture summaries, deliverables.
• Operationalize AI solutions within lab workflows.
• Mentor AI Fellows and coordinate tasks.
