Pattern seeks a Junior AI Art Director to shape Pattern’s visual engine for ecommerce content. The role blends art and technology, auditing AI-generated imagery, copy, and video for global brands across 60+ marketplaces.

You will collaborate with creative, engineering, and studio teams on-site, vetting prompts, refining outputs, and driving the generative pipeline. Growth from part-time to full-time is possible as content scales.

Qualifications

• Strong sense of taste and visual judgement to evaluate imagery quality and brand alignment.
• Open-minded approach toward AI and generative image tools and systems.
• Ability to translate abstract concepts into precise feedback for teams.
• High energy and comfort with rapidly evolving systems and uncharted creative territory.
• Ability to work on-site in the office and visit the studio on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Vet automated AI image generations, copy, and video for brand alignment and quality.
• Test content creation across product categories using image generation models and tools.
• Build auditing rules to ensure data source assets perform in model training and generation environments.
• Collaborate on-site with the studio team to tune photography for high-fidelity content.
• Provide structured aesthetic feedback to engineering and technical teams to improve the generative engine.
