Job summary

Collin College in Plano, TX is seeking a Part-time CE Instructor to deliver American Heart Association training (BLS/ACLS/PALS) to healthcare students, professionals, first responders, and the public. You will lead hands-on sessions, assess skills, and ensure safety and accuracy of procedures.

The role requires an active AHA Instructor Card and at least a high school diploma with one year of related experience; an Associate degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, one year related experience preferred.
• Current American Heart Association BLS/ACLS/PALS Instructor Card(s) required.
• Willingness to travel to Collin County Community College campuses.

Responsibilities

• Train and direct students in activation of emergency response systems and assessment techniques.
• Instruct and evaluate students using AHA-approved materials and equipment.
• Set up and maintain manikins, masks, bag-valve devices, and related resuscitation tools.
• Deliver classroom and hybrid sessions and ensure proper disinfection procedures.
• Maintain instructor certification and up-to-date AHA practices.
