Job summary

Collin College is seeking an adjunct instructor to provide American Heart Association training and skills testing (BLS, ACLS, PALS) for healthcare students, professionals, first responders and the general public.

You will train, evaluate, and supervise students, prepare labs, maintain current AHA practices, and travel to Collin County campuses as needed. AHA instructor certification is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with related experience.
• Current American Heart Association BLS/ACLS/PALS instructor certifications.
• Experience delivering AHA ECC curricula and evaluating students.

Responsibilities

• Train and direct students in activation of emergency systems and assessment techniques.
• Provide instruction and evaluate students during hands-on skills practices.
• Set up class equipment (manikins, masks, bags, valves).
• Maintain current AHA practices and instructor certification.
• Prepare labs and skill evaluations for class or hybrid formats.
• Maintain a safe lab environment and supervise sessions.
• Travel to Collin County Community College campuses as needed.
