Job summary

Asphalt Green is seeking a Part-Time Age Group Coach to support AGUA practices and meets on the Upper East Side of New York City. You will assist lead coaches, reinforce the training curriculum, and help maintain a positive, disciplined environment for young swimmers.

The role requires weekday availability starting at 4:00 PM, with participation in meets and team activities as needed. USA Swimming membership and coaching experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of coaching experience.
• Membership in good standing with USA Swimming.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead coaches during AGUA practices at the Upper East Side campus.
• Support age group swimmers during practices, training, and team activities.
• Help implement and reinforce AGUA’s established training curriculum.
• Provide clear instruction, feedback, and encouragement to swimmers.
• Maintain strong lane management and safe on-deck coaching.
