Job summary

Camp Fire First Texas is seeking an energetic Afterschool Site Director to lead our elementary school program in Fort Worth. This part-time role focuses on Outdoor Education, Positive Youth Development, and S.T.E.A.M.-based activities.

You will supervise staff, ensure licensing compliance, track attendance, and maintain a safe, engaging environment for students and families. We offer PTO, tuition assistance, a 401(k) with match, and ongoing professional development. Start date immediate.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Meet Texas Child Care Licensing requirements for a Site Director.
• High school diploma or equivalent; CDA/Associate degree preferred.
• At least 1 year working with children; 1 year supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct an afterschool program onsite at an elementary school.
• Ensure site complies with Texas Licensing Minimum State Standards.
• Track daily student attendance sheets.
• Model and promote positive guidance with students and parents.
• Maintain a high quality, safe, and healthy environment.
• Plan daily, weekly, and monthly student-centered activity stations.
