Catapult Learning in St. Louis, MO seeks an Afterschool Math Tutor to provide contracted instructional services in reading, mathematics, and writing using our proven curriculum.

This part-time role involves diagnosing deficits, coordinating with schools, and communicating progress to parents. You will deliver prescribed methods, attend trainings, and develop personalized lesson plans while supporting students in a school setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Missouri teaching certification preferred.
• Tutors must complete an FBI/BCI background check.
• Teaching experience preferred.
• Unwavering belief that all children can learn.
• Ability to navigate online platforms for record keeping and communication.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose learning skill deficits and deliver prescribed instructional methods.
• Consult with school personnel to coordinate services for students.
• Communicate with parents providing student progress information.
• Deliver prescribed instructional methods using Company materials and strategies.
• Attend training sessions and implement instructional models in readiness, reading, math and/or writing.
• Develop and maintain individualized lesson plans.
• Ensure supervision of students during sessions.
• Maintain student forms and files per Company and regulatory requirements.
• Attend and document meetings with Supervisors, teachers, principals and parents.
• Maintain inventory of educational materials and supplies.
• Other duties as assigned.
