Job summary

Catapult Learning, a division of FullBloom, seeks an Afterschool Math Tutor in St. Louis, MO for part-time work at partner schools. You will provide contracted instructional services in reading, mathematics, and writing using our proven curriculum and ongoing support.

Responsibilities include diagnosing skill deficits, coordinating with school staff, and communicating progress to parents. A Bachelor's degree and Missouri teaching certification are preferred; FBI/BCI background check is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required or preferred for this role.
• Missouri teaching certification is preferred.
• FBI/BCI background check is required for tutors.
• Teaching experience is preferred.
• Ability to navigate online platforms for record keeping and communication.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose learning skill deficits and deliver prescribed instructional methods.
• Consult with school personnel to coordinate services for students.
• Communicate progress with parents and document student progress.
• Deliver instruction using company-provided materials and strategies.
• Develop and maintain individualized lesson plans.
• Supervise students and ensure safe transportation to sessions.
• Maintain student forms and files as required by the Company and authorities.
• Attend meetings and deliver instructional models as required.
