New York Edge in New York, NY is seeking passionate and enthusiastic Activity Instructor- Dance Specialists to lead after-school dance programming for children and teens at multiple sites across the five boroughs. The role supports curriculum design and implements engaging dance instruction.

This part-time position requires in-person work (2:30 pm–5:30 pm, Monday–Friday), with pay of $20–$25 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of one or more styles of dance and ability to teach youth
• Experience teaching dance to youth preferred
• Ability to work in-person at program sites

Responsibilities

• Lead after-school dance programming for children and teens
• Design lesson plans and implement curricula
• Explain safety procedures and establish clear goals for lessons and projects
• Coordinate with program staff and school personnel
