Job summary

Treasure Kids Academy is seeking an Infant Assistant Afternoon Teacher to create a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children. You will support social-emotional, physical, and cognitive growth through intentional planning, positive interactions, and hands-on activities.

The role emphasizes daily routines, supervision, collaboration with staff, and adherence to center policies.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Requires standing for extended periods.
• CPR/First Aid certification not required but may be obtained within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized, child-friendly classroom.
• Provide supervision and ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• Assist with meals, toileting, handwashing, and other care routines as needed.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities.
• Foster language, literacy, math, science, and social-emotional development through guided activities.
• Communicate with families and maintain confidentiality.
