Magical Beginnings is hiring a Floating Assistant Teacher for afternoon shifts in Bellingham, MA. This entry-level educator role supports multiple classrooms and helps with daily routines, activities, and supervision.

Ideal candidates enjoy working with infants to preschoolers, are flexible, and can stand for extended periods. The role emphasizes a nurturing, collaborative team environment with weekly pay and benefits.

Formación

• Experience in daycare or center-based/private school settings is preferred, not required.
• Engaging and energetic demeanor with a love for helping young children meet developmental goals.
• Flexible to work afternoons and 2:00–5:00 pm window, with willingness to support multiple classrooms.

Responsabilidades

• Provide substitute coverage across classrooms.
• Assist classroom teachers with daily activities, materials, free play, and outdoor supervision.
• Help with daily routines including diapering, snacks, and naptime.
• Maintain cleanliness in classrooms and shared spaces.
• Encourage participation through age-appropriate activities.
• Build positive relationships with students, families, and teachers.
