Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Redlands-Riverside is seeking a part-time Youth Development Specialist to engage students at Riverside USD sites. You will mentor youth, lead HEARTS and Prime Time activities, and provide academic support in after-school hours.

The role emphasizes active supervision, safety, inclusivity, and daily role modeling to help students feel motivated and empowered within the school community.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must pass the School District Instructional Aide Test/ESSA Test.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Able to review and implement lesson plans provided by the district.
• Knowledge of youth development stages.
• CPR & First Aid Certifications within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and guide students at Riverside Unified School District sites.
• Lead HEARTS and Prime Time Program activities and provide academic support.
• Use active supervision and positive behavior management in program spaces.
• Ensure safety, inclusivity, and organization of activities.
• Participate in staff meetings and adhere to organizational policies.
• Foster a productive work environment and professional conduct.
