The Mentoring Alliance in Waco, TX is seeking a Youth Mentor to join our After School team. This ministry-minded, part-time role focuses on fostering youth development by leading elementary students in enrichment activities and providing a positive role model in the community.

Candidates should be at least 17, with a HS diploma or GED preferred, and available 2:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m. weekdays. CPR/First Aid certification and a background check are mandatory; Spanish-speaking abilities are valued.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred; some post-secondary training helpful.
• Passion for working with elementary children and after-school settings.
• Experience with elementary children preferred; ministry-minded approach.
• CPR/First Aid certification mandatory; background/sex offender check required.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States; valid ID/driver's license.
• Spanish-speaking ability valued for outreach and inclusivity.
